Year 10 Geography Trip - Dawlish Warren

122 Year 10 Geography students went to Dawlish Warren recently to practice using a variety of fieldwork techniques to ready themselves for their GCSE exams next summer. As well as completing their own surveys into the impacts of coastal processes on the beach, the students also had the opportunity to witness first hand the amazing coastal management scheme taking shape at Dawlish Warren. Their understanding of this was also enhanced by a really informative talk from a nature reserve Ranger. Thank you to all of the staff that worked so hard both before and on the day as well as our two ex-heads of Geography, Mrs Paramore and Mr Page and two governors, Mrs Kennaway and Mr Bloomfield, who came along to provide their fantastic insight and support the trip.
