The King’s School is an outstanding comprehensive school with excellent facilities, supportive parents, ambitious students and an extremely strong reputation for success.  To start as soon as possible, we wish to appoint a caretaker to support the school in maintaining and developing our premises so that they are secure, safe and welcoming for staff, students and visitors.  The successful candidate will work with other members of the Site Team and Site Manager to complete a range of general caretaking duties such as securing the site, replenishing consumables, driving the minibus and dealing with deliveries, as well as more specific repair and remediation work based on the school’s priorities.  You will need to be flexible, enjoy working in a team as well as under your own initiative, and be happy responding to the unexpected!  Training will be provided so generic skills are more important than specific previous experience in this area.

Please contact Mrs Pocock at for further details or see our website and apply online.  The closing date is 9am on Monday 10th October 2022, with a view to interview on Monday 17th October 2022.

We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of students so all staff undertake an enhanced DBS check.
