Learning Coach and ASPIRE Co-ordinator - Permanent
Scale D £12,976 to £14,836 (30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time only)
We are looking to appoint a Learning Coach to work with students in receipt of pupil premium funding, co-ordinate and support the ASPIRE programme. The post-holder will co-ordinate the day-to-day support of students in receipt of pupil premium funding. The role will include the running of an after-school homework club in addition to in-class support. Additionally there will be the need to co-ordinate meetings with a range of agencies to support students and families. The post-holder will be expected to liaise with class teachers, other support staff and parents to promote positive outcomes in this student group. The successful candidate should be proactive and dedicated to raising the profile and improving outcomes for the targeted group. You will need to be prepared to support a wide range of students, be flexible, enjoy working with young people and, very importantly, retain a sense of humour.
