For April 2020
The King’s School with 1100 students is an outstanding 11-18 comprehensive school with ambitious students, supportive parents and excellent facilities. We have a strong reputation for success across the curriculum and an extra-curricular programme which is valued highly by the whole school community. A commitment to the philosophy of ‘Achievement for All’ and a desire to work in an exciting, dynamic, creative and supportive way are essential for all staff at The King’s School.
For April 2020, we wish to appoint a Library Resource Assistant for three days a week. The library plays a key role in the life of the school. It is a popular learning resource for many subject areas whilst providing 6th formers with additional space to work independently. The library is an exceptionally popular and busy area in the school providing both academic and pastoral support. This facility is always very busy during break and lunchtimes when students can catch up with work, read or just relax. The Library Resource Assistant works in tandem with the Librarian. We are looking to appoint a versatile person keen to support the library’s current function and contribute to its continued improvement. Very importantly, we wish to appoint someone who enjoys working with students, works well in a team, is flexible, adaptable and can work under pressure without losing their all-important sense of humour.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details or see our website and apply online. The closing date is midday, 5th March with a view to interviewing on the 12th March.
We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of students so all staff are enhanced DBS checked.
